Bobby Brooks Killcreas

Mr. Killcreas served three years in the United States Marine Corp. He was a mechanic and flight engineer with Eastern Airlines for twelve years before owning and operating a Western Auto Store for two years. He then worked at Lockheed for thirty years as a flight test flight engineer and a senior aerospace safety engineer and accident investigator.

Mr. Killcreas was a member of Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church in Silver Creek, GA. He loved to garden, and he and his wife owned and operated a polled Hereford cattle operation.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Geraldine Conrad Killcreas, in 2007, and a sister, Vivian Susenbach in 2009.

He is survived by daughter, Suzanne Killcreas, son and daughter-in-law, James and Dedra Killcreas, daughter and son-in-law Kim and Jim Woolbright; grandchildren Jessica Killcreas Grant and Matthew Killcreas; nephew, Donald Susenbach (Donna), niece, Jo Kittinger (Rick), and Robert “Bobby” Susenbach (Melissa). Several great-nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held at Daniel’s Funeral Home in Rome on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church, 702 Pleasant Valley Rd., SE, Silver Creek, GA 30173.
