

Born on May 27, 1963, David was a 1981 graduate of JD Darnell High School in Geneseo, Illinois. He later graduated Western Illinois University before beginning a long career in manufacturing. David devoted more than twenty years working at Suzuki in Rome, Georgia, where he was known for his steady work ethic, loyalty, and quiet dedication.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Janet and Jim Moose; his brother, Terry Moose; and his nephews, Thomas and James Carpentier.
David is survived by his father, Gary C. Bopp of Astoria, Illinois; his siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry his memory with them always.
David was a devoted fan of the National Football League and followed each season with true enthusiasm. Sundays during football season were something he genuinely looked forward to. He enjoyed the games, the rivalries, and the conversations that came with them. Football was more than a pastime—it was a steady and familiar comfort in his life.
Though he built his life in Georgia, David cherished a few close lifelong friends from Geneseo and shared a meaningful and enduring bond with Diane Jackson. Those relationships remained important to him through the years.
He will be remembered for his loyalty, his quiet strength, and the simple joys that meant the most to him.
