
Mr. Muse was born June 20, 1935 in Rome son of the late Homer Fahy Muse and Ruby Cochran Muse Batiste. Mr. Muse was a graduate of Young Harris High School, served in the United States Navy for four years then attended West Georgia College. He was a member of the Bremen First United Methodist Church and was a self employed business man, specializing in mens clothing and furniture. Prior to retirement, Mr. Muse operated Muse’s Furniture in Rome.
Survivors include the love of his life Kathy Fuqua Muse of Kingston, stepson Jason (Allison) Fuqua of Chattanooga, TN; Daughters Meredith Muse ( Jack) Barr of Carrollton, Susan Elizabeth Muse of Atlanta, and Rosemary Muse Diffley of Mobile, AL. Grandchildren Erin Barr Porter (Jim) of Carrollton,and Elizabeth lee Barr of Carrollton; James Winfield Diffley, Rosemary Sloan Diffley, and Mary Grace Diffley, all of Mobile, AL; Step great grandchildren Brandon and Jacob Fuqua of Chattanooga. His first wife Malinda Bonner Muse Aitken of Newnan and formerly of Carrollton also survives.
Graveside funeral and interment services will be conducted at 1 PM Tuesday November 16 at the East View Cemetery with Reverend Jerome Dennis officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the Honor Guard of the Shanklin – Attaway Post 5 American Legion.
