

Mrs. Trammell was born in Rome, Ga. February 26 1935. She was the daughter of the late John Chambers Lane and Alva Maude Camp. She was retired from Darlington School in 2000 after 29 years of service as an Administrative Assistant and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Rah Rah’s senior group and a teacher for the 3rd and 4th grade Sunday school class. Mrs. Trammell was preceded in death by her husband Elmer C. Trammell in June 25, 1997, three brothers; Robert Lane, Radford Lane and John Lane; two sisters; Martha Helton and Florence Braden
Survivors include two sons; Byron Trammell of Charlotte NC and Tony Trammell and his wife Kay of Rome, Georgia; one Sister Jean Gray of Rome, GA. Grandchildren; Kyle Trammell and Jensen Trammell of Rome, GA. one great-grandson; Colton Trammell and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Trammell will be conducted Monday December 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Daniel’s Funeral Home with Dr. David Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Daniel’s Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the funeral hour.
