He was preceded in death by his father Maurice Fruge and mother Alice Borque Fruge, and a grandson, Timothy Oliver.
He is survived by his children, Janet Oliver (Joey), Kennewick, WA, Angela Kotowski (Martin), Rome, Orville Fruge II (Shanna), Stockton, GA, and Sherry Turner, Richland, WA; grandchildren, Victoria Simmons (Andy), Sonja Fruge, Dillan Turner, Sasha Turner, Daniel Kotowski and Jason Kotowski; brothers, Elgie Fruge (Betty), Mauriceville, TX, and Alvin Fruge (Janie), Lake Charles, LA; and nieces, nephews and friends in Louisiana, Florida and Georgia.

A memorial service will be on August 10, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Time to be announced later.
