Mrs. Margaret Bryson Bent

Marg Bent passed away peacefully at the Thomson Care Home in Milden, SK on March 13, 2014. Marg is survived by her brother James Ritchie (Montreal), children Rick Bent (Connie) of Winnipeg and Cathy Parker (Ron) Edmonton, special friend Marlene (Bill) Leith, grandchildren Jonathon, Neil (Ocean Bransfield, fiancé), Jamie and Jeremy, great grandchildren Mercedes, Ryker and Roman as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Bent (July 1994), sister Cathie Kerr, brother John Ritchie. Born in London, Ontario, Marg joined the Royal Canadian Airforce as soon as she was of age where she met and married Douglas. Upon discharge, they moved to Saskatchewan and lived in many small towns over the years as Doug was a CN agent. Marg was very involved with every community she and the family lived from a Scout Leader and CGIT leader in Talmage, Youth leader in Avonlea (United Church) as well as a member of the Eastern Star, always active and giving to the community. Marg worked for many years at Flair Fashions in Rosetown and volunteered at the Seniors Lodge. A Celebration of Life will be held at Clements Funeral Chapel in Rosetown, SK on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or to a Charity of Choice.
