Mr. Sherman R Sanders

1932 – 2012

Sherman passed away on December 12, 2012 at the age of 80 years in Moose Jaw, SK, where he’d been living for the past two years. He was born in the family home near Shaunavon, SK to Robert and Edla Sanders. Sherman worked on the Railroad for many years and then went to work for the Seimens’ family in Fiske. Tena Seimens looked after him for years until he could not stay alone in his own home any longer. He then went to live at Providence Place in Moose Jaw where his sister Ella was living. He was doing well until he got sick and had to be hospitalized where he passed away. Sherman is survived by his brother Norman Sanders of Winnipeg, MB; and sisters Ella (Bill) Maslasz of Moose Jaw, SK; Marian Banilevic of Medicine Hat, AB and Gloria Moor of Regina, SK; numerous nieces and nephews and a very special friend and care giver, Tena Seimens of Fiske, SK. A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Clements Funeral Chapel with Reverend Jo-Ann Hills officiating.
