Arthur "Art" Osterback II, 96, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on February 9, 1929 to Arthur and Connie Osterback. At 17, he answered the call to serve, joining the Army Air Corps. In 1948, he met Mary Stanton and in 1952 they tied the knot and shared 54 years of marriage. They had a wonderful life together, enjoying family, friends and traveling the world.
Art spent his entire career as a respected insurance adjuster, a role he approached with diligence and integrity. Outside of work, he pursued life with enthusiasm, finding joy on the golf course, gliding across the water while waterskiing, carving through snow on skis, and exploring new places through travel.
Art leaves behind a legacy of love and adventure. He is survived by his sons: David of San Jose, Steven of Granite Bay, and Arthur Jr. of Morgan Hill: his 6 grandsons: Steven Jr, (Desiree). Christopher (Elizabeth), David Jr., Jeffrey, Travis and Ryan (Danielle); and his great granddaughters: Alexia, Isla and June and great grandson Hudson.
