Born on January 4 1945 in Oakland, Ca., to Donald, and Louise Wyatt, James was the first of 3 children. James graduated from Oakland High School in 1962, and attended Hayward State College. After serving in the National Guard, he was married to Lynne A. Gallaher-Wyatt in 1967 until deceased. James worked for Southern Pacific/ Union Pacific Railroad beginning in 1972, serving 34 years as a conductor. During which time James was a devoted husband, father, avid fisherman, fishing rod builder, and Union Officer. After moving to Lincoln, Ca. in 2003, and retiring in 2006, James enjoyed travelling, reading, gardening, and being an active member in local senior softball leagues. James is survived by his wife Lynne, son Eric J. Wyatt, and brothers Jonathan and Donald Jr.
