Jo-Ann is preceded in death by her son Duane Benson and her partner Cliff Brunson. She is survived by seven children; Faith Swope (Larry), Leabeth Luis (Tommy), Melissa Laughlin-Guerra (Dennis), Heather Kotz (Danny), Brett Benson (Nancy), Rebecca Moser (Ken), and Mariann Benson (Jeff), 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, and her beloved sister Susanne Churchill-Foley.
Jo-Ann Benson enjoyed her Texas church family, her immediate family, grandchildren and homemaking.
Some of her major achievements include her children and being a mom.
Private family services will be held at a future date as yet to be determined.
