

California. The 10th and final child of Raymond & Fannie Leedy.
All nine of his siblings preceded him in death. Larry being the seventh and last son in his family.
At the age of 9, the family moved to a ranch in Loomis. He attended and graduated from
Penryn Grammar School and Placer High School, class of 1960.
The month after graduation, Larry went to work as a machinist for the Southern Pacific Railroad,
eventually retiring as a Machinist Supervisor for the Union Pacific Railroad in 2002.
On June 10, 1961, Larry married Mary Hughey and lived in Roseville for all of their 61 ½ years
of marriage. Their union produced three children: Ted Leedy/Leslie, Timothy Leedy/Lori, Tara
Leedy Edon and seven grandchildren: Charles Leedy, Jacob Leedy, Sariah Leedy, Quinn Leedy,
Emmett Leedy, Lane Edon and Sunnee Edon.
He loved fishing, looking for and finding gold, golf, camping and his numerous friends and family
members.
Memorial Service: Lambert Funeral Home. 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, CA 95678. Visitation
begins at 11:00 a.m., service at noon. Burial at Roseville Cemetery at 1:30 p.m., 421 Berry St.,
Roseville, CA 95678. Please join us afterwards at the family home at 501 Highland Ave,
Roseville, CA.
