On Tuesday, August 17, 2021, the extraordinarily caring sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Estelle James, passed away. Her passing, by cardiac arrest, was sudden and took us all by surprise.

Marvin James and Estelle, met in the 1950's, married and spent every day of 64 years in love together. Son, Marlon James and daughter, Laura Norris, felt privileged to have her for their mom. Both her daughter-in-law, Shelly James, and son-in-law, Joe Norris, held very special places in her heart.

She spent several years as an in-class teacher’s assistant, but the job that she loved the best was spending time with her four grandchildren and six grandchildren. She loved watching sports and going camping with her grandchildren Kyle AuBuchon, Justin James, Zachary Norris, Amanda James and Allison Norris and her great grandchildren. Her great-grandchildren, Kelli Rae AuBuchon,Troy Norris, Alex Norris, Nathan Bundy, her soon to be grand-daughter-in-law, Jilly-Anne Bundy and newest great-grandchild Jaxon AuBuchon meant the world to her.

We will come together with family and friends to celebrate her and lay her to rest on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11am at the Roseville Cemetery at 421 Berry Street in Roseville, CA.
