Martha Alice Cook

Martha was born in 1928 in Marshall, Missouri. She married her husband Leslie Homer Cook in 1955. Throughout their 56 years together, Martha had a life filled with joy, love and accomplishment. She was the California Bowman Hunters Women’s Barebow 1962 State Champion and a longtime member of the Maya Bowman Hunters Association of Roseville, California. Although, many will remember her greatest accomplishment as raising four wonderful children, Sandra Riley, Janice Beck, Cheryle Marquette, and Steve Cook.

She had a love for adventure and an amazing independent spirit. Until the end of her years, Martha enjoyed evenings out for dinner and a movie with her husband.

Martha shared her love for life with her surviving husband, 4 children, 14 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Martha’s life can be commemorated in her home, overflowing with photographs of the many generations who have been blessed to share their lives with this remarkable woman.
