Thomas R Hargis, Sr., loving son of Noah and Anna (Reynolds) Hargis, born on May 31st, 1920 in Atchison, Kansas, passed away on February 7, 2012 in Roseville, California at the age of 91 years. A long time truck driver for Teichert, Thomas was a proud Army Veteran, having served during World War II. He is survived by his loving family, children, Thomas R Hargis, Jr and his wife, Mary Jo of Folsom,California, James P Hargis of Roseville,CA, Mike Hargis and his wife, Chris of Columbus, Ohio and Debralee Ellen Hargis Carlson of Lakeville, Minnesota, and Jerry Hargis of Isleton, California, 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and family members. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Velma in 1998, Grandchildren, Christina Suzanne Saber and Benjamin William Carlson. Private Family Services will be held on Friday February 10th at 2:00 p.m. at Roseville District Cemetery, 421 Berry Street, Roseville,California.
