Robin, I just wanted you to know that I have thought of you and your parents over the years so much.  The last time I spoke with your dad was when Nanny passed. I was very upset and it didn't go well.  He said he would be in touch but we never spoke again,  that is something that broke my heart.  I want you to know that when we were little we were so close and I always looked forward to visiting with you.  When you all moved, it was one of my saddest days. I watched you, your Mom and Dad, you in his arms,  board the plane and thought my world would end.  I have looked for you on Facebook but was unable to find you. I am grateful for the memories and hope that you have some good memories also. 

Tom was a close friend of mine. He lived across the street, and we would often talk about biblical things. I led Tom to Jesus for salvation in his living room on May 21, 2013 before he drove to Calif.  Tom was an amazing man with many war stores to tell. My wife Ingrid and I loved Tom as if he was a family member. We will never forget him....Dennis & Ingrid.

Mr. Helbig was a very dear friend and one who be missed very much. He was such a kind and caring person, someone who always exhibited thoughtfulness and kindness to all who knew him. He was very dear to my son and I and was a part of our family. He was a man of integrity and honor to our country and shared many stories with us about his life's journey. Mr. Helbig wrote a book about his life occurrences in which we will always treasure and keep close to our heart. I am saddened to hear of his passing, but finding comfort in knowing that he is at rest in heaven with those he loved. What a legacy he has left with many good memories that we shared.   ~Daphne & Blake
