Anna Mae Marie Butala

Anna Mae Butala, 94, a lifetime resident of Roseville died at home Monday, September 26th 2022. She was born April 9th, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. She was an active participant in the Hi-Steps Exercise Group, Roseville Seniors and Praying Hands. She enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards and taking trips to the casino with her husband Ray. What made her the most happy was spending time with family and friends. She was preceded by her husband Ray Butala, and sons Edmond Burgess Jr. and Herschel Burgess; stepchildren Darlene Schaub and Ray Butala Jr.; siblings Margaret Boyd, Leslie Hosmer, and Kathy Bufford. She is survived by children: Barbara (Arthur) Onyx, Harold (Peggy) Burgess, Darlene (Tom) Kropp, Donna (Jerry) Phelps, William (Cindy) La Peer; stepchildren Jay (Sue) Butala, and Valerie (Randy) Moore, daughter-in-law Donna Burgess, sister-in-law Mary Ann Hosmer and grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchild, nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing 3:00 PM-8:00 PM on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 at Kaul Funeral Home at 27830 Gratiot Ave., Roseville, Michigan. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday.
