Whom could forget getting lost in Canada.  

My memory is foggy on this one, but pretty sure it was graduation.  

In the extremely short time I knew Dave; he was a hard worker. He immediately grew on me just because of his knowledge here at National Coney Island. Although I don't trust many, I quickly learned he was trustworthy. We both shared many stories in our early mornings together at work. He was a very kind soul and I surely enjoyed making him laugh because of his kind heart. I really wish I valued our time together a bit more because now I have no more time; cherish the time you have with one another because life can change in an instant. God Bless you Dave; I hope you are at peace.

I had the pleasure of cycling with Dave many times, and listening to him always talk so excitedly about his guitar-playing days, biking, and life in general. RIP Dave, my "Biking Blues Brother"

Thoughts and prayers to Dave’s family and friends. I went through school from 6th grade through graduation with Dave. We also worked together at Silvermans Restaurant on Groesbeck. We had a lot of fun at work. Dave had a great sense of humor, was outspoken in his beliefs and was a hard worker. I’m glad to have known him and shared many friends with him. Prayers for comfort to all. 

I still remember the day I met Dave, on a bike ride, we were both playing music and pulled up next to him only to find we both had the same song playing.  Had many fun bike rides with Dave. RIP Buddy!!

Very sad to hear about Dave's passing. I grew up down the street from Dave; he introduced me to all his older brothers' music and I introduced him to Dungeons & Dragons. (Stranger Things was all about our era, though without the Upside Down :-)) Kathy & family, I'll be praying for you & for him.  

Grateful to Dave for getting me into all the Great Bike Groups in Detroit.  We shared many fun rides, eats, treats & laughs.  So sorry that he passed.  RIP with your family & the Lord.  Prayers to his family.

Still a little in a way about your leaving. I was and have always been there for you brother. You will be missed. As far as memories there are many; drafting class don’t think I learned a dam thing about drafting. The grape crush to the head Ofcourse learning that you had never jumped a fence in your life!  Your dating Kim lay. Still not sure how that happened. Brother I have buried a number of family but Damit you should not be underground. You were loved and will be missed. I’m sorry

I met Dave in 2001, a year after moving to the USA from the UK. Dave and I passionately shared the love of many of the same favorite bands.
We went to many gigs together, watched DVD concerts even VHS concerts and could talk for hours about music and what different bands were doing whenever, so much it would go on for more than Rhonda could stand!
He really was the best friend over here in the US that I had, after Rhonda, as I said, like a brother.
Dave, Rhonda and I so miss you ... 
You are so much of a greater loss to us both, than I'm sure you truly realized.
You've left a huge hole in our lives my friend.
We will never forget you ... See you over the Rainbow dear friend, brother ... Never forgotten.

I rode bicycles with David on many occasions through the City of Detroit.  I'll never forget the time he completed a Century ride at the Baroudeur, sponsored by Wayne State University.  He crashed during the ride, but persisted in riding to the very end.  A WSU PD officer escorted him to the finish.  He was clearly hurting, but refused to be seen by the on-site ambulance crew.  After cajoling, then threatening him, he finally agreed to get medical attention!  Gosh, I miss him.  You'll be riding in heaven, David.  

Dave was always laughing when he would stop at the house to just say hi and talk about biking.  Everyone who remembered Dave was his fake balls under his bike seat lol. As sick as it was lolol that was dave he didn’t care but only if it made you laugh. Rest In Peace Dave. I wish I didn’t have to be writing this. You loved your parents now you are with them in paradise.  Love Vicki
