Herbert Alexander Lent

Herbert A. Lent , 83, of Clinton Township passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Mr. Lent was born on November 29, 1931 to Charles C. and "Amy" Amelia Lent (nee: Perugi) in Detroit. He was able to gain early access to the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict and earned a Bronze Star. Herb was very proud of his service to his country, He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Alys M. (nee: Murphy). Children, Herbert F. Lent, Robert J. (Virginia) Lent, Dawn M. Dobson, Paige A. (Bruce) Barr, Palmer Leigh Grey, Keith A. Wright, Penny L. (Gregg) Vincenti, Benjamin H. Wright and Clifford J. Wright; siblings, Margaret, Robert (Earlene) Lent, Amelia Schneider and Rosemary (Donald) Hart. Twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may visit on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home 27830 Gratiot, Roseville, Michigan 48066. A VFW Ritual will be Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2015. Committal service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Please share a memory of Herb with his family at his on-line guest book.
