Joan Delia Hammer, age 81, passed away on April 14, 2014. Loving wife of 61 years to George. Beloved mother of George (Bonnie), Evelyn Gatto, Mary (Dan) Bullock, Carol (Michael) Muscat, Helen Annie (Jim) Lawson, Michael (Debbie) and the late David. Cherished grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 16. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph Victor and Julia Evangeline Denomme and brothers, Bill, Paul and Bob. Joan was the eldest of 13 children. Mrs. Hammer was a devoted homemaker and proud owner of the Hammer Sandwich Shop.
