I'm not even sure where to begin.  Not only was JoAnn Baker my aunt, she was also my godmother.  As far back as I can remember, she was always there.  I'll never forget her taking me shopping for my communion dress.... and, of course, I had to have the veil, tights, shoes, rosary, and everything else imaginable to match.  I'm going to miss you, more than I can say, Aunt JoAnn; but i know that you're in a better place and no longer in pain.

The picture is of my mom, Dorothy Mistalski, her sister. JoAnn, and John Nawrocki, her brother.  It was taken at her 70th birthday party at the Cadillac House in Lexington, MI.  It was a wonderful party and everyone had a great time.  

Tons of memories... from day 1.  Grandma, you will be missed. The boys send their love to their great-grandma.  Give Grandpa a hug!

I Will always remember grandma and her potato and tuna  salads.  Lol.  She was the only one who added frozen peas to her tuna salad!  I remember I’d call her on my way out of classes (college) and ask if she needed anything.  If it were around the holidays, when she made her salads, she’s asks me to get her some frozen peas!  Lol. Or another funny memory, was when she would pick me and my friend, Liz, from school and she would mess around and almost took off without Liz in the car.  We all  started laughing.  Tons of memories with her.

She was pre-deceased by her husbands Michael Yawfimetz and Frank D. Baker and her canine companion, Sassygirl.
