Louise Nannette Schutte Jones, was born on the 4th of July and lived her life as independent as the day stood for. Being born with a cleft palate life was never easy for Louise, but it never stopped her from being a caring, confident, loving person.
She learned to knit at the age of 8 years, and this brought her great joy throughout her life. Louise made hundreds of sweaters, scarves and hats which most she donated to the needy. She also taught children and seniors how to knit.
She was a fashion designer in her younger years. Worked as a secretary at a modeling agency, Michigan Bell and Veterans Administration. At age 30 she survived cancer.
She found love with her husband of 20 years. Howard Jones has 3 children. She traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe. She had a great love for children and animals, especially her dog "Trinket."
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry and two sisters Evelyn and Jean. She has a remaining sister Dorothy Munoz, three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Louise was an inspiration to all of those who knew her. Her wish was for donations to be forwarded to the Mercy Ships to help children with cleft palates in her name to improve their lives.
