Luigia retired from the IRS in 2019 after 47 years of employment. She loved her ACS family. She enjoyed cooking and baking, crafts and of course reading her JD Robb books. Most of all Luigia loved being with her family. She was the glue that kept the family together. She was there for everyone if you needed her, she was a walking angel, savior, financial advisor and a shoulder to cry on.
Loving mother of Tanya Vitale and Theile Baxtresser. Proud grandmother of D’Angelo Vitale, Dominic Vitale, Alexandria Sebesta (Vitale) and Navi Ray and great-grandmother of Soulin Vitale. Dearest sister of Anthony D’Angelo of Guam, Thomas McCloskey of Pennsylvania and Michelle Graves of Arizona. Luigia is survived by many cousins and family friends. She is predeceased by her parents Francesco and Waltraut D’Angelo and her brothers Francesco D’Angelo Jr. and Michael McCloskey.
A visitation will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 6:00PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville, MI 48066.
