Mark graduated from Carl Brablec High School in Roseville, in 1976. After High School he served in the United States Navy for 10 years, stationed in Japan, Morocco and the Philippines. He began working for Fed Ex as a courier, where he worked for 25+ years, he worked doubles every day, never complaining. His Fed Ex co-workers were like family to him, and remained important to him even after retiring in 2013.
He loved Sports, cold beer and going to the casino. However, nothing compared to how much he loved his family. He showed up to all family events ready to kick butt in bags. He was the guy who wore flip flops all year round, sang "Sweet Caroline" for his karaoke go-to and would help anyone at the drop of a dime.
He left a mark on everyone he met and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. We are so lucky to have had him for the time that we did, even though 100 years still would not have been enough. He was the glue that held the family together, and life will never be the same without his perfect smile.
His memory will live on forever, and we will always talk about how much "Poppi" loved each and every one of us. To express condolences to Mark's family please visit, www.kaulfuneralhome.com
