Nancy was born in Detroit. She also lived in Highland Park, where she graduated from Highland Park High School. Most recently, she lived in New Haven. She enjoyed going to concerts growing up and had many different jobs, including one working with horses. She worked at Home Quarters, Costco, and most recently at MGM Casino as a Blackjack dealer. That job had to end when she lost vision in one eye.
Nancy loved to be around people and could always find a way to make someone laugh, even if she didn’t mean to. You could hear her loud voice anywhere, and her laugh was contagious. When her children were young, she volunteered to help in their activities. This included school field trips, dance classes, Boy scouts and Girl scouts. She even took tap and jazz classes to make sure she was really involved.
Her happy place was sitting in the sunshine, anywhere near the water. She loved to be outside and breathe in the fresh air. She even liked to go by the water in the winter to walk her doggie. She loved her little dog JoJo and most recently, Coco. She didn’t like to stay home and always wanted to go somewhere. She would frequent the movie theater, casino, beach, and restaurants whenever she could.
Her greatest joy came from being with her grandchildren. Her whole world revolved around them. She was a proud grandmother and would brag about them to anyone that would listen. Nancy had the biggest heart, and always wanted to give to others, even when she didn’t have enough for herself. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her daughter Nancy Jo Kulikowski (Christian), son Michael Angelo Tocco (Tammie), grandchildren Lincoln and Lucille Kulikowski, brothers Sonny Robinette (Janet), William Robinette (Janis), and Kenneth Robinette (Marcella), sisters Earlene Barry (Ernest) and Sharon Lewer.
Predeceased by her parents Rutha and Earl Robinette, twin brother Charles Robinette and younger brother Ralph Darryl Robinette.
