I have known Ricky for 10+ years I was really close with April and Frank. They are the family I wish I had.  I never hung out with Ricky but I remember when he was sleeping on the couch at his parents and we came home from the bar and I ran and jumped on him to wake him up and i farted so loud ... it was so funny we both started laughing. He wasn't even mad at me. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. He will be with his mom happy and at peace. I am so sorry for your losses and the boys losing their dad.   Christina 


Ricky was part of the Redford Igloo alumni, and the members and friends will miss our anchor. We nicked named him “Ricky Bobby” and it stuck for all time. 
On behalf of the rest of the fellas…Rest easy Brotha.

I watched Ricky(as I knew him) grow up from the young age of 3 or 4. I enjoyed spending time with April, Ricky, my son Kyle and myself. We spent most days together. Until our family moved out of Ferndale. Ricky used to like to teach Kyle how to fight. It seems like that was their favorite thing to do. Beat the crap out of each other.  He was two years Kyle’s senior. So Kyle really learned how to defend himself from Ricky.  There were some great times spent with them.  Unfortunately, I am the only one left of the four of us, to tell those stories, and my memory is horrible.  He will be missed.

Rick always had a smile on his face. I’ve enjoyed working with him for the last 7 years. He will truly be missed by everyone. He’s held a place in the heart of everyone he’s ever met. Rest in Peace. His family is in my thoughts.
