Robert F. Buckley, 96, a 65+ year resident of Roseville, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in Richmond, Michigan. Mr. Buckley was born on April 27, 1918 in Detroit to Roy F. & Sophie (nee: Creguer) Buckley. Mr. Buckley served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Motor Machinist 2nd Class. He worked in production for Uniroyal where he met his loving wife, Frances (nee: Tomlinson). Together they enjoyed their commuting together to work and home. When not working they were avid golfers at Cedar Glen Golf Course. Although they had no children, Bob and Fran devoted their time to their Pug dogs. The Buckley’s were thankful to all of their neighbors and caregivers, especially Sue & Mike, Lily and Becky.
Inurnment services with U.S. Navy Honors will be planned for Mount Olivet Cemetery in the near future.
