Tim was a proud and dedicated Union member, he understood the value of community. He was an avid outdoorsman, he was most at home on the water or the green. He was a dedicated member of the Lake St. Clair Walleye Association. When he wasn't on the lake, he could often be found on the golf course. Travel was another of Tim’s great passions, especially when he was accompanied by his wife. Above all else, Tim was a man who lived for his family. They were his compass and his greatest pride. His love, strength, and unwavering support will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew him.

Loving father to Ann (Ron) Fansler, Edward (Angela) Spiga, Patty (Bill) Condon, Joseph (Carrie) Spiga, Casey (Todd) Trudeau, Candace Smith, Mary (Phil) Rancilo, and Frank (Andrea) Spiga. Proud grandfather to Zachary, Melanie (Jacob), Curran, Lauren, Madeline, Erin (Brian), Timothy (Carly), Allison, Tyler, Emeline (Ray), Kyle, Brenna, Isabella and Joey and great-grandfather of Cameron, Owen, Gavin, Henry and Kennedy. Dearest brother of Vaughn Covert and the late Barry Covert.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 3PM until 8PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville, MI 48066.
