My thoughts and prayers are with you all today. Barb was such a sweet lady and one of my moms closest friends. She will be missed by many.  

This is my favorite photo of Barbara. I took it when we were in Trivoli, Italy in 1999. 
She was beautiful, so intelligent, and fearless. 
She was kind, creative and compassionate, and I loved her charming laugh which made everyone want to laugh with her. 
For years we traveled in the summers and created adventures for the children we shared in our classrooms in the fall, winter and spring. 
I loved her dearly then and I will always love her.  She is in my heart and a part of who I am.     Juanita


What a light in my life you were! It’s hard to share memories! All those years of teaching side by side and laughing! Laughter filled out classrooms and made coming to school soo much fun! I loved when students would move from you to me then to Juanita. What a team we made! What fun we had when we escaped to Ft. Lauderdale for the weekend. Such fun . I’ll never forget the last few years how life shifted back around and we became neighbors! I love you and I’m going to look out for your precious family!! Xoxoxo,

I will always remember Barb as a very giving, loving, and unselfish person.  My memories are many but I have a few that will stick with me  forever.  One was her creativity and passion around creating beautiful party settings.  She helped to decorate and plan so many parties of ours for special moments such as my girls' graduations, weddings and baby showers and of course you were her "sous decorator/planner" : ).  You made such a great team and I am so thankful to have had the experiences to share with you both.  Of course I will never forget our amazing trip to Italy, all made possible by you and Barb's friendship, generosity, and hospitality.  So  many fun times were had by all.  I will remember Barb's laughter as we rode around those curves on the Amalfi coast in the convertible.  Also, as my neighbor for many years, Barb was always welcoming to me,  our kids grew up together at each other's houses, and she was always ready for a social hour with a glass of wine to chat about our busy kids' lives.  Lastly, you and Barb  always had amazing parties....top of the line beautiful and I miss those!!  However,  I will always cherish the many memories and am so thankful to have been a part of your lives.  

We are so very sorry for this loss for you, family and friends.  Barb will be dearly missed.

We have loved Barb since we first met her and have many sweet memories of our street times and Trivia team times!  She was a wonderful neighbor who will be greatly missed.
