Don will be missed, it was such an honor to have met him when he came to work for The City of Alpharetta. Don was very professional and a kind man. May he RIP

Don Burney interviewed and hired me to work for the City of Warren , Michigan in 1967.  I worked for him many years until his time ended with the city and he moved to Georgia.  We have kept in touch ever since.  I thought a lot of him and highly respected him.  A good man  has left us, but we keep memories forever.  My thoughts, sympathy, prayers, and love are being sent to his family.

Mr. Burney will be greatly missed. He was and is a great man. I was honored to work with him at the City of Alpharetta Courts. He was funny at times and serious as well and taught me age has no limits when you do what you want to do. Praying for peace over the family.
