Elva Geneva Pagan passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, at the age of 95. She was born on May 28, 1929, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Remer and Elizabeth Knight. After graduating from high school in Orlando, Geneva married the love of her life, James Pagan. His military career took them all over the world, and through every journey, Geneva remained a devoted wife and the heart of their home.
Geneva poured her love into her family. She was a nurturing mother and a doting grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery, and she enjoyed making clothing for her granddaughters.
Geneva is survived by her son, James Pagan, and his wife, Linda; her beloved grandchildren, Jason Pagan, Ryan Pagan, Meredith Pagan Pierce, Heather Pagan, Brittany Pagan, David Pagan, and Jennifer Pagan; and her great-grandchildren, Timothy, Cody, Riley, Myla, Brinley, Bastian, Gavin, Sloan, Ellie, and Michael. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Sandy Pagan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Pagan, and her sons, Steven Pagan and Kevin Pagan.
Geneva will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Florida National Cemetery at a later date.
Her legacy of faith, love, and warmth will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
