Ernie was born to the late John and Irene Riedl on November 17th, 1936 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. He met the love of his life, Frances Horvath, in high school.
They were married in 1960, and spent 62 years together.
Ernie is preceded in death by his parents, John and Irene. He was an only child. He is survived by his children, Susan Kuse (Robert) and Steven Riedl (Tracy), his grandchildren, Nick Kuse, Gabrielle Kuse, Colleen King (Schuyler) and Tara Riedl, his great-granddaughter, Scarlett King, his niece Heidi Mitchell (Grant) and grand-nephews Rob (Bianca) Mitchell and their children, Angel and Sofia, and Tyler (Meaghan) Mitchell, and their children, Lauren and Max.
His memory will be cherished by many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 26th from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, February 27th at 11:00 am at St. Brigid Catholic Church Chapel in Johns Creek, GA with Father Neil Herlihy officiating.
