Henry was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was married to his bride Betty, who preceded him in death just before their celebration of 75 years of marriage. Together, they shared five children: Henry Bradford, Linda Barron, Debbie Herman, and Raymond Bradford. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Bradford, and his parents. His memory continues to live on through his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as Pop Pop and Pop Pop Pop.
Henry was very proud and fond of his career as a cherished member of the Roland Park Country School community in Baltimore, Maryland, where he brightened the halls for decades. He could fix anything, even turning a frown upside down.
In his personal life, henry was a talented craftsman, enjoyed long bus trips with his wife and friends, and many vacations with generations of family. He loved animals of all kinds and was the “Dr. Doolittle” everywhere he went as animals flocked to him. His love for chocolate cake was unmatched.
A graveside service will be held in Maryland at a later date.
Henry Augustus Bradford will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and his ability to make people smile. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
