

Holiway Homer Harris, age 89, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020. He was born on October 9, 1930, in Englewood, Tennessee, the son to John and Sarah Harris. He enlisted in the United States Navy, proudly serving our country for four years.
Holiway was married, as a young man, to Evelyn Nocket with whom he was blessed with two daughters.
Holiway later met Loretta J. Burke while employed with the Central Intelligence Agency, and they were joined in matrimony. This union of 45 years was blessed with two sons. Holiway and Loretta shared in many great experiences. They traveled the world and enjoyed many adventures together until her passing in 2003.
Holiway was a man of many talents. He had a mindset to excel and knew how to use resources to help those around him. He enjoyed the company of family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, hunting and farming. His favorite thing to do was to tell make-believe stories. He never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. His influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by Loretta B. Harris and Evelyn Nocket.
He is survived by his four children Elizabeth M. (Harris) Burns, Diane M. (Harris) Berzowski, Alan T. Harris, Scott K. Harris, and his grandchildren, Nicole L. Berzowski, Lindsey P. Harris, Avery M. Harris, Isaac T. Harris, Riley S. Harris and Leah L. Harris.
