To the extended Prouty Family-
I share in the grief you must be feeling over the loss of Jim, your husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.  Ellie is the niece of my late mother, Anna Bayko Survilas and I share fond memories of both Jim and Ellie.

Alzheimer's is a cruel disease and I'm sorry it has hit your family.  I'm grateful that we shared time with Ellie and Jim at a family reunion in Massachusetts.  My son, Dr. Mark Mondano (deceased) was the ring bearer in Jim and Ellie's wedding.

Jim was always my hero.  As a young child I was very impressed with the marine in full dress uniform.  I will always remember him as a young, handsome, strong Marine.  My condolences to the family and my love to cousin Ellie
