

John was born to the late Edward and Agnes Luttrell on March 6, 1922 in Batavia, NY.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Agnes Luttrell; two sisters, Phyllis Daniels and Lois Thorne; first wife, Betty; and his son, Steve (Jayne).
His memory will be cherished by his wife of 42 years, Faye; daughter, Jayne Cloud; step-son Tim Bivens (Julie); step-daughter Angela Gamble (Lynn); 2 grandchildren, Michael (Kelley) and Marla (Sean), 7 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
John served in WWII and later retired as a plant manager with Carborundum Commercial Filters after 38 years with them. He moved to Vero Beach, FL and was an active member at Westminster Presbyterian Church and the community. He volunteered for the Sheriff's Department, maintained "snow birds" apartments, drove residents to and from the Orlando Airport, and golfed in his spare time. He also enjoyed woodworking and carving wood, chatting with friends on his HAM radio, and making others laugh with his quick wit.
Services will be held at Roswell Funeral Home in Roswell’s Chapel with Chris Duvall officiating. Committal and burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum.
