
Joseph (Joe) V. Leberte age 48, of Alpharetta, Georgia died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 after a long battle with lung cancer. Born in Birmingham, AL, February 29, 1964, to Joe V. and Barbara J. Leberte. Joe graduated from W.A. Berry High School in Hoover, AL. He served in the Alabama Air National Guard for ten years. After several years in computer sales he became General Manager of a computer manufacturing and sales company in Alpharetta, GA. Later, Joe started his own company, Liberty Paint and Drywall. Joe loved spending time with friends and family. Whenever there was laughter, you can be sure that it was from the antics of Joe. With his quick wit and natural comedic personality, he was always the life of the party. He will be missed by all. Joe is survived by his parents, Joe V. and Barbara J. Leberte, wife Robin, daughter, Grace and sons, Joseph and Matthew, sisters, Lynn Mosley (Jerry), Sandy Bliss and Kelly Denson, nieces Erin Mosley Waldron (Adam), Katie Floyd, Kristen Mosley, and nephews Taylor Mosley (Darcy), Grant Denson, Christopher Floyd and great-nephew, Oliver Mosley. Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Angelo P. and Mary Leberte, Pearl Dunaway Kelley and Norman R. Johnson. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 6 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at St Brigids Catholic Church, 3400 Old Alabama RD, Johns Creek, GA 30022, followed by a funeral Mass. A graveside burial with Military honors will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 7 at Southern Heritage Cemetery, 475 Cahaba Valley RD, Pelham, AL, 35124; the family will receive friends at Southern Heritage Funeral home one hour prior to the graveside service. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to the Joe Leberte Memorial fund for his children’s education at First Citizens Bank,Laurel Springs Location, Suwannee GA. Roswell Funeral Home in Roswell GA in charge of services.
