Linda was born on August 5, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Paul and Louise Helms. She grew up in Roswell, Georgia, and was a graduate of Roswell High School. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Oglethorpe University.
Linda built a career as a paralegal, mostly working with The Southern Company. In her younger years, she was outgoing and sociable, with a wide circle of friends. She loved attending concerts and special events, and she was a devoted fan of Elvis Presley, collecting memorabilia that reflected her admiration. Linda was deeply affected when he passed away. She also was a devoted fan to the Atlanta Braves and she never missed watching a game.
She is survived by her sister, Sandra Cliburn; seven nieces and nephews; and a loving extended family.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Green Lawn Cemetery.
