Louise Mansfield Russell passed away January 13, 2016 in Atlanta. An Atlanta native, born in 1923, she graduated from the Bartram School for Girls in Jacksonville, FL, and later graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA degree in Journalism. She was a member of Chi Omega. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, James A. Russell, Jr., and is survived by daughter, Margaret Russell of Atlanta, GA and son, Robert Russell (Renee) and grandchildren Mark & Julie Russell all of Durham, NC. Contributions can be made in her honor to the UGA Foundation, Dept. of Journalism, Athens, GA 30602. Inurnment will be at the Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, South Carolina, following a private family service.
