Lucille Rose Sommer, age 92, passed away on September 5, 2011. She has peacefully and joyfully gone to the home she has been longing for and is once again reunited with her dear husband, Fred, her son, Paul, and her grandchildren, Sandy and Brian.
She is survived by son, John Sommer, of Fort Worth, Texas, daughter Janet (Dave) Modlinski of Sugar Hill, GA, and daughter, Nancy (Dale) Hintz of Alpharetta, GA, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2011 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 535 Rucker Road, Alpharetta, GA 30004.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Friends of Martha of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, or North Fulton Community Charities, 11270 Elkins Road, Roswell, GA 30076.
To the entire staff of Chambrel of Roswell, both Independent Living and Assisted Living (her home since 1998), Evercare Hospice, and to Nicole, her very loving caretaker these past several months from Rescare, we will forever be grateful to you all. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
