Mark Bernard Lunde passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on September 14, 1952, in Staten Island, NY, Mark had a lifelong passion for art. He graduated from the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan and spent his early years living in Manhattan and Brooklyn, working as a painter.
In 1986, Mark moved to Atlanta, where he started a family and worked as a freelance artist for advertising companies. His love for painting remained a constant throughout his life, leading him to Southern California, where he became a plein air artist in Laguna Beach. Eventually, he returned to Atlanta, where his warmth, charm, and outgoing nature touched the lives of many.
Mark is survived by his son, Sean, and his siblings, Ann, Barbara, and John. He will be laid to rest at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY, at a later date.
