Marsha Linkwald Burman, 75, passed away on August 16, 2024. Born on January 9, 1949, to the late Lena and William Linkwald, Marsha grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a graduate of Druid Hills High School and Kent State University.
Marsha worked for Lithonia Lighting, where she rose through the ranks to become the Director of Marketing. She also enjoyed her 2nd career, caring for children. In recent years, she found a loving community at Peachtree Christian Church, which brought her great joy and peace.
Marsha enjoyed making jewelry, and her creativity shone through in her handcrafted pieces. A devoted mother, she was a single parent who worked hard to provide support for her children, ensuring both of them completed their college education. Marsha was highly organized and always presented herself with grace and poise.
She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Brockert, and her husband Dean, along with their children, Scarlet and Blu Brockert; her son, David Schlosser, and his wife Randi, along with their son, Scout; and her brother, Rick Linkwald, and his wife Susan.
A memorial service to honor Marsha’s life will be held on August 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Roswell Funeral Home, followed by a reception. Marsha's legacy of love, strength, and elegance will be cherished by all who knew her.
