Michelle is survived by her father, John Mortison, of Roswell, Georgia; a sister, Janet Host (Michael), of Escondido, California,; and two nephews, Brandon and Collin Host. She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Mortison.
Michelle graduated from Edina High School in Edina, Minnesota. She was a businesswoman who started with Great Clips as a stylist and advanced to District Manager in Atlanta. She then became a franchisee and has operated two Great Clips salons for several years.
Michelle was an animal lover, and has been very active in the West Highland White Terrier (WHWT) Club of Atlanta. Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home WHWT's. She has had as many as five Westies in her home at one time.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Georgia, 30076, on Wednesday, May 2nd at 2:00 pm; there will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
