Dear Ms Song-
I am really very sorry that I could not find/connect with you before 2019.  Mr Song meant so very much to our family- The Wheeler family.  We had a strong Judo connection.  He and my father were very good friends.  I have wonderful memories of you both joining our family for dinner and my mother trying her best to make Asian food- definately not Korean but a big effort.  
I also have another wonderful memory, around 1980 when Mr Song invited my brother, Happy and I to his big office at the C&S Bldg to let us know that if we needed anything he was there for us during the difficult divorce my parents went thru.
I always heard about what a wonderful tennis player his son was -where he wished he had been more interested in Judo.

I would Very much like to connect of hear from you- Ms Song if you have any interest in a visit.  I have always wondered how you all were and was so sad that I waited so long to look for him online.

Dear Song family-
I am so very sad, that I did not know of Mr Song's death and am just now looking for him.  He was so very much a part of our lives from 1970- lat 1990's.

I I just learned that Mr Song, a man who had enormous impact in my life, had passed away along with his wife Chun and daughter Julie.  Mr Song taught me judo, and so much more.  He taught me to fight and win in life.  During my Air Force career I was able to draw upon life lessons that he taught me to fight and win.  He was a great friend and mentor.  I thank my Lord Jesus for putting Mr Song in my life.

Today, I loaded up some jackets and pants to take to Chung to be altered.  I have been going to Chung for probably 30 years.  I was met in the parking lot by a lovely young woman who has a place of business on the same floor as Chung.  When she told me the news, I was in shock and have been since.  Chung was the most wonderful woman as was her husband.  She spoke of her family so many times.  The last time I saw her was mid-September when my granddaughter and I took her college clothes to be altered for The University of Georgia.  Chung took care of weddings,  special occasions and everything else.  My daughters, son, and husband are equally devastated.  Much love to the family,  Celia Cobb, Rodney Cobb, Catherine Cobb, Allison Felton, Vivienne Sayle and Stephen Sayle.

Mark, Sue, Nicole, Stella and Hope, your loss is unbearable. Please know you are surrounded by love and support at all levels as you say goodbye to your parents, sister, grandparents and auntie. May you each be flooded with beautiful memories of times you shared together.

I heard the devastating news this morning, and am sorry I didn't know before the funeral.  I've been going to Chun for decades, and will greatly miss her warm smile and welcoming greeting.  She was always excited to see my girls, as she watched them grow up; and always asked about my mom, who introduced me to Chun.  My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear Song Family,

I am so sorry for your loss.  I met Chun in 1995 and followed her through all of her relocations.  She was always sweet and wonderful to me.  I just saw her in February.  My husband used to come with me and practice putting with your father while I tried on clothes.  She will be sorely missed.

We are so saddened by the loss of Joon, Chun and Julie. They were wonderful people, much loved by their family and all who knew them. Their loss is an unbearable tragedy, and we are so sorry for your grief and suffering. It is enormously devastating that Stella and Hope will not have had the time and memories that they deserved to share with their Grandparents and Aunt. Mark, Sue and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your parents and Julie!  I've only known Julie for 5 years or so but feel that I had a special connection with her and enjoyed the times we were able to get together at races and just talk on the phone.  

She is a very special person and touched many lives in her journey, more than she could ever imagine!  Heaven has gained 3 very special angles who will be missed very much.

Sue, Mark and Family, I'm so sorry for your loss, of your parents and Julie, I'm in stock as I know you are too. Julie was like a sister to me, my son Dwayne and daughter Tosha thought the world of Julie and so did I, we will miss her beautiful smile. She was just a great person inside and out.  Of course we meet Julie thru racing and our relation grew from there. She spoke of her family often and I feel as if I know you all even if we have not meet. I am coming to Atlanta for the services and look forward to meeting you. Praying for you all, but I know they are smiling down on us and watching over us.
