Nicolás "Nicky" Lecároz

Nicolás "Nicky" Lecároz passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at the age of 77. He was born on June 22, 1944 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Nicolas Lecároz Largé and the late Maria De Los Angeles Perez.

Nicky was a kind hearted, outgoing individual who had a special way of bringing people together. He was fun, friendly and always the life of the party. He was a very generous person who shared everything he had with others, including his time. Many joys in Nicky's life included riding his bike, traveling and reading.

Family was so important to Nicky - he was a loving husband, a proud father and the best "Abu" any grandson could ask for. He was very involved throughout his daughters' childhood so that they felt loved, supported and disciplined.

Nicky was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. He was a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico where he obtained his Bachelors in Business Administration. He had a long, successful sales career with companies such as Digital Equipment Corporation and Ericsson.

Nicolás "Nicky" Lecároz's memory will be cherished by his devoted wife of 54 years, Amaryllis "Ama" Lecároz; two loving daughters, Mayra Northen (Eddie) and Mariela Carrasquillo (Whadzen); four grandsons, Nicky Northen (Michelle), Mitchell Northen, Adrian Carrasquillo and Gabriel Carrasquillo; sisters, Rosario Lecároz (Christian), Maria De Los Angeles "Cuchita" Delgado (Enrique) and Pilar Lecároz; and many other loving cousins, nieces, extended family members and friends.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 535 Rucker Road, Alpharetta, Georgia 30004.
