Mrs. Opal Earley Wright, age 89, of Alpharetta, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 21st. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Thornton Turner Wright, infant twin sons, daughters June Pelfrey and Elaine Coker. She is survived by daughters, Renee W. Threatt, Alice W. Smith and husband Dale; sons Ted Wright and wife Kim, Mark Wright and wife Susan, son-in-law Harry (Butch) Pelfrey, 15 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grand Children, and Nieces.
She was a member of Roswell First Baptist Church for over 60 years, The Faith and Love Sunday School Class, choir member for over 50 years, Alpharetta Garden Club and Alpharetta Women’s Club. Visitation will be at the Roswell Funeral Home on Monday, April 23 from 2 - 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, at 1:00 p.m. at the Roswell First Baptist Church, 710 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell, GA, with Interment to follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery.
