I would like to send my condolences to Patrice's family 🙏  I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful soul while working at ACC. I scheduled all of her test and scans. She was so pleasant and sweet. I was SO PRAYING and hoping she pulled through. I just learned of her passing and it has definitely put a damper in my day.. That affectionate smile & soft voice will DEFINITELY be missed.  Praying for ALL😇🙏

Patrice was one of the kindest and sweetest people I had the pleasure of meeting in all my time at Gallup. She went out of her way to look out for me and the other Trinis who passed through, and always did it with a glad heart and a smile. She will be sorely missed

Patrice epitomized strength, grace and ebullience.   My heart aches for her family right now.  She is someone who just ticked all the boxes for beauty and intellect.  I have only happy memories of her. I am extremely sorry I could not be there today. I count myself lucky to have had her as part of my life.   She left her presence and it is good.

Met you many years ago at Deb's bday weekend and you brought so much sunshine and a positive vibe to the gathereng. In the last few years, God gave you time to carry out his additional plans and you blessed so many souls 🙏🏽, provided hope and encouragement, spreading God's love and his faithful word. At this time, God wants you to rest because you did what he called you to do, but you will truly be missed. Patrice was the captain of my daughter’s tennis team at Wellington, Johns Creek. Despite her hectic travel schedule, she always made herself available in person or remotely for every game and encouraged each kid to play their very best and show their sportsmanship at each match. Her passion for tennis and strong support for the team helped create a closely knit team with an unstoppable force, which unsurprisingly led them to ALTA City finals and USTA State Championships every year. Patrice will forever be remembered as that high energy, high spirited, always on the go, always in the know of what’s going on lady who shows up every time with a big beautiful smile on her face and a passion for service at heart. Thank you for touching so many people’s hearts and rest in peace, Patrice🙏

Patrice and I met in college, trigonometry class to be exact. From the first day, I felt a sisterhood bond with her. I carry so many beautiful memories of her. She was there to dry my tears, lend a shoulder to cry on, and 
give me her amazing super charge spirit to lift me back up; we've cried, laughed, studied, and shared beautiful memories together.  Wherever she went, she'd lid up the room with her awesome pure energy. Our children had so many play dates together; they'd play, laugh, giggle, and eat ice cream while Patrice and I would cherish every memorable moment. I will miss you dearly, my beautiful friend, you will always be in my heart. On behalf of the Mojabi family, we send our condolences and deepest sympathy to her dear family.

We moms shared  a special bond and she will forever be missed. 

I met Patrice through our daughters playing Tennis together but we moms soon became close too. She lit up the place wherever she went. I loved her energy, enthusiasm and positivity. I felt like anything was possible when I was around her. She treated everyone with so much respect and love.  She left a lifetime of great memories and example of how to live for the rest of us. I am sure she is making the place happy wherever she is now.  She will be missed terribly and I pray that the family find the strength to bear this unimaginable loss in their lives. 

This picture makes me  laugh. I remember her telling me that she wore something cute because she thought I would be dressing up… I showed up in a Prince shirt. 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ 

I will remember Patrice for her big , bright beautiful smile. ❤️ 

I will always remember my first meeting with dear Patrice - one of the first people I met after moving to Johns Creek. Her laughter, kindness and optimism made her a pure joy to be around. She was so supportive to my children as well, and I will cherish all the sweet memories we made together. 

Patrice will be remembered always as the shining star and cheerleader for our tennis team. I lift up prayers and support for your family during this time. May God undergird you.


Met through tennis, bonded through tennis.  One of my favorite memories was watching Nadal play the exhibition match in Atlanta with my first mom and second mom :)

Our Jamaican, Ethiopian, and Indian FEAST happened after literal years of planning . . . not that it was that complicated, it just took that long to get all our calendars synched up!  We always said we were going to do it again . . . 

Patrice and I met soon after our girls became BFF's  in kindergarten (on day 1). In the midst of planning playdates and outings for the kids, we developed our own friendship. We could talk for hours about almost any topic.   I was often impressed at how much Patrice could get done in one day  - being a hands-on mom, flying around the country for her job,  even getting a master's degree (or two?) on the side  . . . she just had boundless energy.  And boy, when she started playing tennis . . . who knew she was so competitive?? However, the most overarching trait she possessed was a genuine love for people.   Even on her worst days, she slowed down to share a good word, sound advice, or an encouraging message.  I am so lucky to have known such a compassionate, empathetic, loving, sincere and brave FRIEND.  You will always be in my heart Patrice! All my love to Richard, Brianna and Isabelle. 

Patrice and I met back in 2008. We started working together at the Radiation Clinic and it was an instant "Caribbean connection" . Instant trust in knowing that what we talked about stayed between us. No matter where life took us we always kept in touch. Patrice was always such a source of support, always available even though she stayed busy. 
Patrice, as I sit here writing I'm heartbroken knowing that I can't just pick up the phone and hear your voice, or us crack up laughing about something ridiculous or silly. I'm thankful that you allowed me along your journey these last few years. It was an honor to watch GOD grow, refine, and use you the way HE did. My only peace and consolation is knowing you are now resting in heaven. You are love and missed.

We had the privilege of knowing Patrice for about 10 years, and her presence in our life brought us great joy and laughter. I was so fortunate to have met Pat, to have called her my friend, my colleague & to even have traveled with her to Turks & Caicos in 2021 where this picture was taken. Pat was like a sun, full of light. She was there for me during my darkest moments. She lifted me up. She was my guardian angel & I will always love her like a sister. Pat, you still inspire me every day. You are one of the most incredible human beings I've ever met. You are & will always be in my heart.

Patrice I met you at 21 when I was at Virginia State University and you visited from Morris Brown with your classmates in the Hospitality industry.  And hospitality and service just came naturally to you. You spent so much time dedicated to serving, encouraging, and inspiring the lives of so many people. You are always dedicated, loyal and loving to me and the Chaney family. We are so proud to have always been called your “American Family”. And you truly were like a daughter and sister in our family. You will be missed and always remembered. I look forward to seeing you again in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is our Hope!


I struggle with the thought of having to settle in my heart that you are no longer with us.   But what gives me peace is that you are suffering no more. There is no more pain. You are at peace. I love you, and I will miss you but God loves you best.  And as we always said, he is in the details.  Referencing the last song that we shared the day before you gained your wings….you Tanya and I “That’s What Friends Are For”.  I’ll never forget it. You were singing and had the sweetest smile on your face. 

Thank you for being with me in the good times the bad times. Not just for me but for family.  And I want you to know that I’ll be on your side forever more, and that cascades to the extension of your bloodline.

The presence  and verbal resonance of some souls give a foretaste of what the Kingdom will be like from the engulfing kindness, empathy and compassion shown in the arena of life. Patrice was one of these. The radiance of her attested to the anchoring in the wisdom of her heart to impact so many inclusive of our family. Her intangible wealth has filled this earth with the treasures from up above through the vessel she was and look to share those joys on that Great Day. Her embrace has been etched in the heart and will be remembered for it and missed. Engulfing prayers for all who have been touched by her and share in the missing of her light. 

I had the pleasure of training Patrice and Debra for a few months. I was constantly amazed by her strength and determination to push herself (and Debra!). She was such a joy to be around and I loved working with her. I am so saddened by her passing and for her family and friends, especially Debra. I know how much they mean to each other. I’m so grateful for the time I got to spend with Patrice.

My heart will forever have a piece missing now that Patrice has transitioned. Beyond thankful for all the amazing moments and memories we shared during her short stay here on Earth. Look forward to a massive hug and tons of laughs the next time I see her as cancer free and full of the energy that only P has the capacity to exude.

It’s with a heavy heart that we say to Patrice’s love ones that we can’t imagine her not here in the flesh anymore! Patrice was so full of life and energy and light that you see her smile coming a mile away!!! So I know her spirit will be with us.. We are so sorry for what Richard and the girls must be going through with the passing of dear Patrice. Patrice and I met in 2012 when I first interviewed her via video conference. Over the next 11 years, I was privileged to call her colleague, my side kick, and most of all, TRUE FRIEND! 
Her faith was an inspiration to me and many others. Her kindness and devotion to family, patients, colleagues, friends and all that surrounded her will alway be remembered as changing lives. She leaves a legacy and an example of a life full of loving care for all that surrounded her!
I will always keep her close to my heart and will miss her dearly! Rest in Peace, my friend!!

I never met Patrice on our earthy journey, but I followed up on her life's journey through my sister and her friend  Betty Elliott, and now Betty's daughter, Shana.

Such a bright ray of sunshine! She was the colleague that everyone loved to be around.  She was so very kind, so bright and so very caring.  I spoke with her last summer, a conversation that left me lighter and joyful. I will cherish that call always.

I do still recall that evening at the Darlington Apartments on Peachtree Street, when we met Pattie.  It was on an elevator ride, and we were searching for a baby shower. A very vibrant, forward and helpful soul.  She always had that suspicious look, like she was up to something!

Quiet at times but a very industrious and brave heart full person.  Daring is the best explanative - not certain if you would ever wish to compete with her in the work place.

On later travel into Jamaica, that spark of a Patrice was the first to take the plunge from the top of Ricks Cafe Cliff, while her cousin Errol and I were discussing if we would do the same.  Once she did, we both knew what we had to do, but only after Errol removed that cast that he had on his arm.

At the hospital, she did some resistance exercises - where she kicked out and I gently resist her movement at the end of the bed; inquired about her awkward position in the bed (said it was required) - so asked if it hurts the neck.  So, gave Pattie a gentle neck rub before departing to the airport.  

Told her and others that we have to get her close to the water upon return, just to hear the movement of nature. She really loved the water, from all that I can recall.

So, we agreed to do the next best, for Pattie - sent her water falls, and other beach videos from travels.  Also collected and transported some pink sand for her to rub in her hands (arrived into ATL on 20th March with that sand); left that in the care of Izzy!

Heartbroken to hear this sad news. 💔
I worked with Patrice and she always approached situations with a positive word & a warm smile. A beautiful person both inside & out.

Patrice Gooden-Wilson, a true friend who never lost her roots. Patrice was quick to encourage anyone she came in contact with. She had the best smile and a great sense of humor. Angella, Charmaine, Patrice, and I have been friends from Frankfield Primary School- always together. We named ourselves "The Original Four" and have been great friends to each other. Though we lost contact over the years, our reunion was wonderful. It was as if we never lost a beat. We simply got back to chatting as if there was never a break in communication nor physical distance between us. That's what true friendship is. We had many moments of great laughter and long talks as we reminisced about our days at Frankfield Primary School. We discussed our current life, dreams, and aspirations. Patrice was one in a million- caring, trustworthy, dependable, and honest. Patrice was a go-getter with a pure heart. She was loving and she genuinely cared about people. She was loveable and we loved her. We are indeed saddend by her early passing, and while we will miss her dearly, we are grateful to have had her in our lives. She will always be in our hearts and we will cherish the memories. May her soul rest in perpetual peace and may God grant comfort to her family.

Patrice was such a bright light for all that came in contact with her.  This was from the ONCC breakfast about a year when she received the Pearl Moore award for the work she did with The US Oncology Network.  Patrice was beautiful person inside and out!
