Patricia Hollis Barton, age 73, passed away January 7, surrounded by her loving family. Born in LaGrange Georgia she lived in Atlanta, New Orleans, California, Louisville KY, and her later years at Harbor Club at Lake Oconee, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jerry Barton and is survived by her sons, Lee, Hollis, Stuart and Bill, their wives and 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. A devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, she lived her life for her family. A generous, dedicated and rewarded volunteer at schools, little leagues and her community, she always had time to do whatever was needed for others. Her passion for cooking and entertaining was legendary and an invitation to one of her Derby parties was cherished. Her loving home was open to all and numerous receptions, parties, showers and dinners were enjoyed by her guest. The family will receive friends and family at Roswell Funeral Home on Tuesday January 10th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Donations to Homestead Hospice and Downs Syndrome Assoc. of Atlanta would be appreciated. Her funeral will be at Roswell Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 11th at 11:00, burial on Wednesday at Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville GA at 2:00 PM.
