Raymond Benson Davis

Raymond Benson Davis, 66 of Johns Creek GA departed this life on April 12, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Raymond was born on May 11,1945 in Asheville NC, he was preceded n death by his father Grady James Davis and his brother James Davis. Mr. Davis was an Avid Fisherman, was a Air Force Veteran, loved his family dearly, and was a member of St Brigid Catholic Church where he was a 4th Degree Knight with The Knights of Columbus. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Diane Schram Davis, daughters and son in law, Stephanie and Matthew Rimar, McDonough GA, Tracy Foster, Flovilla, GA, step son, Leonard Zaprowski; his mother Emily Davis, Asheville NC;Brothers and sisters in law, Julian and Marcie Davis, Ronald and Shawnee Davis, Asheville NC; sisters and brothers in law, Karen and Earl Combs, Ft Walton Beach, FL, Dianne and Tom McClure, Sylva, NC; grandchildren Carlin Zaprowski, Dylan Townsend, Mackenzie Foster, Tyler Rimar and Olivia Rimar; numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 10:30 AM at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Alpharetta, GA with Monsignor David P.Talley officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Georgia National Cemetery with Air Force Honors. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at Roswell Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Make A Wish Foundation in Raymonds name, 8615 Roswell RD, Atlanta, GA 30350.Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
