Richard Eric Fretty, of Roswell, Georgia entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Richard was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather whose Christian faith was an essential part of his life. Richard, an only child of Russell and Agnes Fretty, was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Carol Fretty. He is survived by their four children; Karen Lyall, Mark Fretty, Dawn Lowery, and Lisa Rasmussen, and six grandchildren.
Richard was born February 11, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI. He served four years in the US Air Force during the Korean War and afterward attended the University of Wisconsin where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. Richard was a Sales Director for Pharmacraft/Fisons Corporation until retirement in 1993.
As an active member and elder of Mt. Paran Church of God and board member with Outstretched Hands Ministries, he spread The Word throughout area jails and prisons for over thirty years.
He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and fellow followers of Christ.
