Richard Wallace Kohl

He was born in Antigo, Wisconsin to William and Viola Kohl. Richard graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering in 1954. He served his country in the Army for two years stationed in France during the Korean War. Upon his return home, he attended Georgia Tech and received a Masters degree in Industrial Management in1958. Richard was a life long supporter of Georgia Tech and an Old Gold Alumni member. He spent most of his professional career with the Kimberly Clark Corporation as an executive and General manager.

Richard is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Gerry Kohl, his parents William and Viola Kohl, and his brother Bill Kohl. He is survived by his daughter Anne Fowler ( Randy) of Suwanee, Georgia., his son Tom Kohl of Roswell, Georgia, his granddaughter Emily Fowler, and nephews Bill and Steve Kohl of Colorado.

A memorial Service remembering the life of Richard will be on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Northminster Presbyterian Church located at 2400 Old Alabama Road Roswell, Georgia with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association ( ALZ) or Northminster Presbyterian Church, Roswell, Georgia.
